Steico Zell Case Study
The Novora Building Services’ team installed Steico Zell, a natural wood fibre insulation material, in a new build single storey PassivHaus. The timber structure was constructed using the Steico I-Joist system giving an overall wall depth of 360mm, the void was then insulated using Steico Zell, contributing to the thermal efficiency of the external wall and helping achieve an overall target U Value of 0.10 W/m2K meeting PassivHaus Standards.
Steico Floc Case Study
The Novora team installed Steico Floc, a natural cellulose fibre insulation material, in a new build Passive Haus project. The timber structure was constructed using the Steico I-Joist system giving an overall wall depth of 360mm, the void was then insulated using Steico Floc contributing to the thermal efficiency of the external wall and helping achieve an overall target U Value meeting Passive Haus Standards.
